  • Q: Is eyebrow or lip tattooing painful?

A: The procedure involves minimal discomfort, as we apply a numbing cream to the area. Most clients describe the sensation as tolerable. Please note numbing cream is not supplied as it is illegal to do so. T. Brows, Lashes & CO has an arrangement with a Compounding Pharmacy and you must order your anaesthetic within 24 hrs of booking your appointment. Please call Formulae Maroochydore - Phone: (07) 5406 3977 to purchase your numbing cream no later than 5 days prior to your appointment. It will be enough anaesthetic to cover your initial appointment and 6 or 8 weeks touch up.

Q: How long does the appointment take?

A: The procedure usually takes 2 hours, including consultation and design.

Q: How long will my tattooing last?

Q: Will my tattooing fade over time?

A: Yes, fading is natural. A touch-up session 6 - 8 weeks after your initial appointment helps ensure longevity.

Days 1-7: Brows/lips/eyeliner may look darker and slightly swollen.

Days 7-14: Peeling and flaking occur; colour may temporarily appear patchy or faded.

Days 30-45: The colour settles, and a touch-up session is usually needed to perfect the result.

Q: Who is a good candidate for cosmetic tattooing?

A: Most people are candidates, but those with oily skin may not retain pigment as well.

  • Q. What is brow lamination?

    Q. How long does brow lamination last?

A: Brow lamination typically lasts 4 to 8 weeks, depending on aftercare and individual hair growth.

    Q. Is brow lamination safe?

A: Yes, it is generally safe when done by a trained professional. However, people with sensitive skin or certain skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, etc.) should do a patch test first.

    Q. Can I get brow lamination if I have thin or sparse brows?

A: Yes! Brow lamination can help create the illusion of fuller brows by lifting and setting the hairs in a uniform direction.

    Q. What should I avoid after getting brow lamination?

A: For the first 24-48 hours, avoid:

    • Getting your brows wet

    • Applying makeup or skincare products on your brows

    • Excessive sweating (workouts, saunas, etc.)

    Q. Does brow lamination damage natural brows?

A: If done too frequently (more than every 6- 8 weeks) or incorrectly, it can weaken the hair. Proper aftercare (hydrating with a brow serum or castor oil) helps keep them healthy.

    Q. Can I tint my brows after lamination?

A: Yes! Many people combine brow lamination with tinting or dyeing for a fuller, darker look. It’s best to tint/ dye after the lamination process.

    Q. Who should avoid brow lamination?A: People with:

    • Extremely sensitive skin or active skin conditions around the brows

    • A history of allergic reactions to perming solutions

    • Overly thin, weak, or damaged brows

  • Q: How long do lash extensions last?

A: Lash extensions last 4 - 6 weeks, with infills recommended every 2–3 weeks to maintain fullness.

Q: Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?

A: No, if applied correctly by a trained professional and maintained properly, they won`t damage your natural lashes. Avoid pulling, rubbing, or using mascara on them.

Q: Can I wear makeup with eyelash extensions?

A: Yes, but avoid oil-based makeup and removers as they can weaken the adhesive. Avoid mascara (especially waterproof) because it can clump and cause premature fallout.

Q: Can I swim or shower with eyelash extensions?

A: Yes, but avoid getting them wet for the first 24-48 hours after application to allow the adhesive to fully set.

Q: What are the different types of lash extensions?

    • Classic: One extension per natural lash (natural look).

    • Hybrid: Mix of classic and volume for a fuller appearance.

    • Volume: Multiple lightweight extensions per lash (dramatic, fluffy).

    • Mega Volume: Ultra-dramatic and dense lash look.

Q: How do I take care of my lash extensions?

A: Clean them daily with a lash cleanser; Brush them with a spoolie to keep them neat; Sleep on your back to avoid crushing them; Avoid oil-based products near your eyes.

Q: Can I remove eyelash extensions at home?

A: It`s best to have them professionally removed to avoid damaging your natural lashes. Never pull or pick at them.

Q: Who should avoid getting eyelash extensions?

A: People with eye infections, very sensitive eyes, or allergies to lash adhesive should avoid extensions or do a patch test first.

  • Q: What is a lash lift?

A: A lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment that curls and lifts your natural lashes, giving them a more defined and longer appearance without extensions.

Q: How long does a lash lift last?

A: A lash lift typically lasts 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your lash growth cycle and aftercare.

Q: Does a lash lift damage natural lashes?

A: No, when done by a trained professional, a lash lift is safe. However, over-processing (too frequent lifts) or poor aftercare can weaken the lashes.

Q:Can I wear mascara after a lash lift?

A: Yes, but wait at least 24 hours before applying any mascara. Avoid waterproof mascara, as it can weaken the lift and dry out your lashes.

Q: Can I get a lash lift if I have short lashes?

A: Yes! A lash lift enhances your natural lashes, regardless of their length. However, if you have very sparse or extremely short lashes, the results may be subtle.

Q: What should I avoid after a lash lift?

A: For the first 24-48 hours, avoid:

    • Water, steam, or excessive humidity (showers, saunas, swimming)

    • Rubbing or touching your lashes

    • Oil-based products near your eyes

    • Sleeping on your face

    Q. How do I make my lash lift last longer?

    • Avoid oil-based makeup removers and skincare products.

    • Brush your lashes daily with a clean spoolie.

    Q: Can I get a lash tint /dye with a lash lift?
